Hello, I'm Henry Stetina, a PGA Teaching Professional with a passion for sharing my knowledge of golf with others. 

My journey in the golf industry began at the age of 14 when I was hired to work outside services at the Santa Fe Country Club. 

I continued to work at the club throughout high school and during the summers of my first two years of college. 
In 2006, I transferred to New Mexico State University (NMSU) and enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program.

It was during this time that I discovered my passion for teaching after attending a seminar taught by PGA Hall of Fame Instructor, Manuel de la Torre.
Manuel introduced me to an approach called Club Focused Instruction, which uses an external focus of attention and differs from traditional body-focused instruction.

This approach was more efficient and effective for both learning and teaching the golf swing.

This experience inspired me to pursue teaching as a career and to share the concepts that I had learned with others.

Together with Ed LeBeau, a close mentor of mine, we introduced Club Focused Instruction to the students at NMSU, a teaching philosophy that I still use to this day.

I feel like I'm standing on the shoulders of giants when I share Manuel's philosophy with my students.

Without discovering Manuel de la Torre, I would not be the golfer and teacher I am today. 
As a PGA Teaching Professional, my goal is to help golfers of all skill levels experience more joy and fulfillment through the game.

I am committed to providing you with the tools and knowledge necessary to improve your game and achieve your goals.

My approach is straightforward and honest, with an emphasis on helping you become a self-reliant golfer.

I believe that the improvement you make and the goals you achieve in golf will reflect the time and effort you commit to the game.

As your coach, I am committed to answering your questions and helping you set SMART goals.
